Poopcade Privacy Policy

1. What Poopcade is

Poopcade is a casual web and mobile arcade operated by 2Play. Games can be played as a guest. Players may optionally sign in with Google to save scores, synchronize personal bests, and participate in global leaderboards.

2. Account information

When you sign in, Poopcade and its authentication provider process information needed to create and maintain your account, including:

• a Supabase authentication identifier;
• email and authentication information supplied through Google and Supabase as needed to maintain the account;
• your public Poopcade gamer or display name; and
• account creation and update timestamps where applicable.

Your email address and Google identity are not displayed on leaderboards. Other players see only the gamer or display name you use on Poopcade.

3. Saved gameplay information

For signed-in players who save a run, Poopcade may store the score, selected difficulty, level reached, gates or passes and equivalent run metrics, style-bonus count, run duration, timestamps, and a technical run identifier used to prevent duplicate submissions.

4. Guest play and device data

You can play without signing in. Guest scores, best scores, and preferences may remain locally in your browser or device unless you clear them. Poopcade also records limited first-party guest activity: the game played, score or challenges completed, run duration, timestamps, and a random short-lived session identifier stored only for the current browser session. This does not require a name, email address, or Poopcade account, is not used to fingerprint your device, and is not linked later if you sign in.

Normal network requests may still cause Cloudflare, Supabase, Google, or other necessary infrastructure to process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details, and security logs.

5. How information is used

Poopcade uses information to authenticate players, save and synchronize scores, calculate personal bests, operate global leaderboards, understand basic game usage, improve gameplay, reduce abuse or fraudulent submissions, maintain the service, troubleshoot problems, and protect the security of players and infrastructure. Guest activity is used only for operating, understanding, and improving Poopcade, not for advertising or marketing tracking.

6. Service providers

Poopcade currently relies on:

• Supabase for authentication, database storage, and backend functions;
• Cloudflare for website and application delivery and supporting infrastructure; and
• Google for Google sign-in and Google Play distribution.

These providers process information as needed to provide their services and may process normal operational, diagnostic, and security data under their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Sharing and sale of personal data

Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, and distribute Poopcade, or when required by law. Based on the current application and business model, Poopcade does not sell personal data. Poopcade does not currently include advertising or third-party analytics integrations.

8. Security

Poopcade uses HTTPS, authenticated backend operations, database Row Level Security, and server-side controls intended to restrict access and prevent arbitrary score or account operations. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

9. Retention

Account and saved gameplay information is generally retained while your account exists, unless deletion is requested or retention is otherwise legally required. Guest preferences and local bests may remain on your browser or device until you clear them. Limited first-party guest session and completed-run activity may be retained for service operation and aggregated product analysis. Infrastructure providers may retain limited operational or security logs under their own retention practices; Poopcade does not claim a fixed duration for those provider-managed records.

10. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from the Account page or use the public account-deletion page. Deletion removes the associated Poopcade authentication account, gamer profile, saved runs, and personal-best or leaderboard history from Poopcade’s application account and database system.

Limited information may be retained only where required by law. Information held independently in provider security or operational records is governed by the provider’s applicable retention practices.

11. Children

Poopcade is not specifically directed at children. Parents and guardians should supervise use of online services where appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

2Play may update this policy as Poopcade changes or as legal and operational requirements develop. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published.
